When did you first become a …

 In digital disruption, futurist

Recently I was asked how long I had been working as a futurist. I dug out the video below from August 2000 when I was introduced in an online interview (yes they existed even back then) as a Futurist while working at Telstra in Australia.

My work continues today as I consult with the c-suites of some of the world’s largest companies about the threats and opportunities from Digital Disruption.

If you watch this blast from the past below, you will learn that in 2000 only 40% of Australians owned a mobile, and ADSL hadn’t even been rolled out yet. We were on dial-up!

When did you start doing what you’re doing now and are you brave enough to share your early work publicly?

Watch my first outing as futurist below.
