Algorithms and AI: their impact on professions and skills Webinar: 20 March 2019 at 4 – 5pm GMT.

Practical Futurist Andrew Grill will be a featured panellist on RICS webinar on Algorithms and AI: their impact on professions and skills.  The webinar is aimed at influencers and decision-makers in the built environment beyond the surveying profession but not excluding it. The format is a three-panellist discussion, which is being chaired by John Kraus, Director of External Affairs, RICS.

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly capable of mirroring human cognitive ability, what impact will this have on professions? Will it lead to job losses or require new skill sets and could the use of AI for routine cognitive tasks restrict training opportunities for newcomers?
