Andrew presented a keynote titled: “Workplace of the future – the impact of digital disruption” at the Modern Sciences and Arts University Organisational Development & Leadership conference in Cairo on October 29, 2017. A full replay is available above.

Talk overview:

How can your employees adapt to changes in the nature of work in an increasingly digital world? Actionable Futurist, Andrew Grill looked at the three pillars shaping the future of work – namely culture change, leadership and digital transformation.

The keynote examined how the workplace is changing along with the tools available to enable more collaborative and efficient environment. It will use relevant case studies from global organisations across multiple industries that are “going digital” and having to respond in real time the threat of digital disruption.

Andrew also looked at the demands of “new tribes” of employees such as Millennials and Gen Z, along with experienced employees, coupled with the new demands of the “gig economy”.

Delegates left the keynote inspired to want to embrace digital disruption, and extend their thinking in the accompanying interactive workshop.
